The ninth edition of The Silver Ball is one to remember, said Wietze Jongsma, chairman of the DZB Foundation. With big names like Jordan Stolz, Femke Kok and Jenning de Boo at the start, the roof went off on Wednesday night, March 19, at the Elfstedenhal in Leeuwarden. The win eventually went to Femke Kok and Yevgeniy Koshkin!
This year, a fantastic VIP program took place in the VIP Lounge. The program started with a live draw led by Jan van der Meulen, then several skating stars were interviewed and a delicious dinner was served.
More attention than ever
De Zilveren Bal has never been in the public eye like this before. There was plenty of attention in various newspapers, online channels and TV channels. And to top it all off, an item was broadcast during the national NOS sports broadcast. Watch the item here!
